Candy Wrapper
Over the course of a week, I read through an enormous amount of content — WeChat Moments, public accounts, the constant stream of social media. I have no idea how much I actually retained. Maybe nothing. Maybe everything, in some diffuse way.
I fed all of it into an algorithm and converted it into colored fragments. Vivid, abundant, a little overwhelming — like candy wrappers scattered across a floor.
A candy wrapper is what's left after the sweetness is gone. That's what this was: all that information, consumed and dissolved, leaving behind only the colors that briefly lit up the brain as it passed through.
Three small 7-inch screens, quietly displaying the fragments. Perhaps this is what a week of reading amounts to — not content, but color.
